RuneScape is one of the most influential MMORPGs in history. Proof of this is the fact that the first version of the game was released in 2001 and now, more than twenty years later, the game still has a huge base of regular players. The control system of this Android version has been perfectly adapted to touchscreens. To move your avatar you just have to tap anywhere on the setting and to attack an enemy you just have to tap on it. In general, you can interact with other characters or with elements in the setting with just a couple of taps. By sliding your finger across the screen or using two fingers to zoom in/out, you can also control the camera.

RuneScape, like many players are well aware, is set in the world of Gielinor, a medieval fantasy world that's divided into several different kingdoms, each with its own regions and cities with different political ties. In each region, you can also find different types of monsters and resources that you'll have to explore on your own. You'll have total freedom to move around in Gielinor; so you can travel by foot, using magic, or on different mounts.

One of the coolest things about RuneScape is that you can play however you want. If you feel like playing an intrepid wizard in search of adventure who travels around the world, you can do so. If, on the other hand, you prefer to become a farmer, blacksmith or miner, and live a quiet life in one of the game's many cities, well, you can do that too. As they say, not all heroes wear capes. And your hero can be whatever you want.

RuneScape is a colossal MMORPG that offers players absolute freedom. This freedom, in fact, can be a bit overwhelming for many players, but once you get to know all the options of the game, you'll discover that being part of the world of Gielinor can be very, very fun.
